PURPOSE: To provide a parking area system without the need for a basement by the use of a mechanical parking device, which is called underground buried type, wherein two pallets, upper and lower ones, are provided, and a car can be taken in and out using the upper pallet, while the lower one is placed in an underground space.

CONSTITUTION: A mechanical parking device is disposed on a floor such as road surface. And a floor B is formed on a level above the floor to take in and out a car. And when upper and lower pallets are at a lower position, the upper pallet 10 is in engagement with the floor for taking in and out a car, and when both the pallets are at an elevated position, the lower pallet 11 is in engagement with the floor for taking in and out a car.
