Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking support device which can precisely guide drive operation in parking without imposing a big burden to a driver.
SOLUTION: The parking support device comprises a distance meter 2 for measuring a vehicular advancing distance, a controller 1 which preliminarily stores the minimum radius value corresponding to the maximum steering angle and decides the vehicular yaw angle from the minimum radius and the advancing distance and furthermore the vehicular position basing on the yaw angle, and a speaker 6 for providing a sound as proper parking support information to a driver based on the vehicular position.
