Abstract:
To provide a part assembly device that can assemble parts without using an air source, and to provide a method for manufacturing mechanical parts.
The part assembly device has a first robot 11a that has a first hand 51a at a tip of a first arm 12a and holds a first part using the first hand 51a, and a second robot 11b that has a second hand 51b at a tip of a second arm 12b and holds a second part assembled to the first part using the second hand 51b. The first hand 51a has a pressing member 74 that presses the first part or the second part from above and the second hand 51b has supporting pins 55 and 56 which are inserted into a hole formed at the second part to hold the second part.
