Abstract:
To obtain a particulate structure having desired characteristics by controlling the direction and the plane direction of the particulate structure in the substrate plane and forming the particulate structure having a face centered cubic structure except for the (111) orientation.
A pattern 102a is formed by processing the surface of a crystalline substrate 101. The pattern 102a includes a plane 103a having the tangible crystallographic direction of (111). By depositing fine particles in the region of the plane 103a, the obtained particulate structure has the crystalline form of a face centered cubic opal crystal.
