PURPOSE: To enable parts to be inserted into a printed-circuit board without disturbing their aligning shape and the remaining parts to be controlled easily by providing a control device for driving a positioning mechanism and electronic parts supply part according to a predetermined procedure.

CONSTITUTION: Hands 7a and 7b mainly consist of a positioning mechanism 8 for enabling electronic parts to be shifted accurately between any each electronic parts supply parts 2, 3, and 4 and the determined position of a working area 5 and a control device 9 for enabling electronic parts to be held by the hands 7a and 7b by supplying electronic parts 2b, 3b and 4b. Then, an operator can pick up electronic parts from a pallet where they are aligned in a specified order without worrying about their type and can insert them into a printed- circuit board using a semi-automaitc inserting machine. In this manner, the remaining parts can be managed without inserting electronic parts into the printed-circuit board by mistake or without disturbing their shape. At the same time, it is possible to manage the remaining parts.
