Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger conveyor handrail belt and a passenger conveyor in which a fingertip and others of a user contact hardly to the vicinity of a facing part of a handrail or an immovable part fixed to it and a belt body.SOLUTION: Provided are a belt body which moves along the periphery part of a handrail and a cover which is provided at the outer surface of the belt body. The width-direction cross-sectional shape of the belt body is a C-letter like shape which surrounds the periphery part of the handrail and includes an opening part at the extension side in the width-direction cross-section of the handrail, and a facing part is formed by the opening part, and the handrail passing through its inside or an immovable part fixed to the handrail. The cover includes a sheet part which covers the outer surface of the belt body and a protrusion which protrudes to the outside surface side of the sheet part at the width-direction outside of the facing part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
