To enable a batch array antenna to obtain desired directivity by adjusting the interval between antenna elements, and to eliminate the need for changing a feeder circuit from the antenna.
In the patch array antenna, a feeder line 2 is formed on a first dielectric substrate 1 and a stub 3 is connected to the front end of the line 2. A radiating element 5 is formed on a second dielectric substrate 4 and electromagnetically coupled with the feeder line 2 through the substrate 4 and stub 3 to constitute this batch antenna. Even if patch antennas, constituted in this way, are arranged in an array and the interval between the antennas is changed, there is no need to change the constitution of the feeder lines 2, because the antennas are not fixedly connected to the lines 2.
