PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a cheap and simple fail over function in a computer system.SOLUTION: A unit comprises a storage device, a changeover device connected to multiple host bus adapters, and a controller generating a signal to make the changeover device connect storage device to a host adapter having no failure among the multiple host bus adapters based on redundancy configuration information indicating a redundancy configuration of the host bus adapter and failure information of the host bus adapter, the changeover device connects the storage device to the host adapter having no failure based on the signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
