Abstract:

To provide a patient identifying system for preventing patients from being mistaken and the erroneous administration of medicine.

The system is provided with a first patient information reading part 100 reading patient information attached to a wearing means that can be worn by the patient, a medical record information inputting part 101 inputting medical record information on the patient, a database 102 associating patient information with inputted medical record information and storing it, a medical record information reading part 103 reading medical record information stored in the database 102, a second patient information reading part 104 for reading patient information attached to the wearing means, a patient information collating part 105 collating patient information associated with medical record information that is read by the medical record information reading part 103 with patient information that is read by the second patient information reading part 104 and a notifying part 106 notifying a result collated in the patient information collating part 105.
