Abstract:
PURPOSE: To realize a pattern expression model learning device with high discrimination performance in which learning precision can be improved.
CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with a small category group register means 11 which classifies plural categories into the prescribed number of small category groups by classifying categories whose degree of similarity is high into on small category group, and resisters the classified result in a small category group note, small category group selecting means 13 for learning which inputs a learning pattern which already knows the category, selects the entire small category groups including the category to which the learning pattern belongs, and then selects one small category group whose degree of similarity to the learning pattern is the highest from among the selected small category groups, and parameter control means 6 which operates the re-estimation of the parameter for improving the discrimination ability of the category only inside the selected one small category.
