To provide a pedestal deck having good workability with a simple constitution and, at the same time, increasing vibration resistant performance obtaining the same high rigidity as that of a monolithic RC slab and a construction method of the pedestal deck.
A tabular viscoelastic body 16 in the same shape of a surface as that of a concrete exposed surface is previously placed on the concrete exposed surface 17 of floor boards 8 of the surface joined to the other floor boards 8. After a plurality of floor boards 8 have been arranged in the direction of x and in the direction of y, a PC steel-wire 11 passes through a sheath pipe 9 continued to both x and y directions, the PC steel-wire 11 is tensed so as to butt plates 13 of the adjoining floor boards 8 and angle members 14 against each other, and the inside of the sheath pipe 9 is filled with a filler such as a grout or the like. Accordingly, the pedestal deck 5 is so constituted that the adjoining floor boards 8 are unitized in a state to butt the concrete exposed surfaces 17 against each other through the viscoelastic body 16.
