PURPOSE: To prevent the oxidation and the scattering of an inoculant at the moment of melting in molten metal and in the usual treatment and to easily weigh the inoculant by beforehand packing and shutting up the suitable quantity of powdery inoculant.

CONSTITUTION: The binderless powdery incoculant 3 is packed with an outer shell film 2 and the neighborhood of both ends are shut up to make the closed condition so as not to scatter by spilling the powdery inoculant and the packed inoculant 1 is formed as pellet-state. By this method and by packing the suitable wt. of the inoculant, the oxidation and the scattering of the inoculant 1 at the moment of melting in the molten metal and the usual treatment are prevented, and the packed inoculant can easily be weighed. Further, as the material quality can be indicated on the material package, mistake in the treatment can be prevented.
