PURPOSE: To make the thickness of a glass plate between a transpararent touch pannel and a liquid crystal display sufficient, to keep the shock resistance property of the liquid display and, at the same time, to make possible a coordinate input with high precision even if a pen tip is deviated from a pointing coordinate.

CONSTITUTION: A cursor consisting of the combination of an arrow area 20b and a circular pen tip touch area 20a is prepaired as the pen cursor 20. When a pen tip 19a is shifted in a state where the pen tip 19a is brought into contact with the pen tip touch area 20a, the pen cursor 20 is shifted with it. When the pen tip 19a is brought into contact with the outside of the pen tip touch area 20a, the pen cursor 20 is jumping-shifted to the position.
