PURPOSE: To make it possible to write down letters, comments, etc. on the surface of pattern material without changing a cutter blade and a plotter pen after cutting pattern material by installing a pen device adjacent to the cutter blade fixing head of No.2 unit, and making the plotter pen of the pen device freely elevating.

CONSTITUTION: No.1 and No.2 units are moved along a cutter blade receiving face 3, and a pattern material 8 pulled out onto the receiving face is cut into a desired shape with a cutter blade fixed on the head of No. 2 unit. Next, electricity is turned on to an electromagnetic solenoid 21 of an elevating means 11 installed on the head. A plate 22 is lowered resisting against a return spring 23, a pen holder 19 connected to a guide shaft 20 is lowered in the same direction, a plotter pen 10 is brought into contact with a cut pattern material 8, and letters and/or comments are written on the surface of the pattern material 8. Inversely, the plotter pen 10 is raised and returned by the return spring 23 and the pattern material 8 can be cut with the cutter blade by following paint marks after painting pattern material with the plotter pen 10.
