Abstract:
PURPOSE:To detect the positions of both movable mechanism and a movable member with the use of only one mechanism and to control the positions thereof with a simple structure by arranging a pair of electrode plates having their relative opposed area which varies in association with the rotation of the drive shaft of the movable member, in a through-hole through which the drive shaft of the movable member pierces. CONSTITUTION:A rotary cylinder 19 in which protrusion 26 is engaged in a spiral groove 17 formed in the outer peripheral surface of a drive shaft 13, is rotated so that a movable member 15 moves along a guide shaft 12. Further, when the rotary cylinder 19 is rotated within a through-hole 18, the relative opposed area between stationary electrode plates 22a, 22b which are attached on a part of the inner peripheral surface of the through-hole 18 and a movable electrode plate 23 which is attached to the outer peripheral surface of the rotary cylinder 19, varies. Then, the capacitance between the stationary electrodes 22a, 22b and the movable electrode 23 varies. The variation in the capacitance corresponds to a rotating angle of the rotary cylinder 19, that is, a displaced position of the movable member. Accordingly, the positional information of the movable member can be obtained by measuring the capacitance.
