Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by the formula (R is 5-8C aliphatic acyl) or a salt thereof.
USE: A central activator useful for treating sleeping pill intoxation, disturbance of consciousness, subthalmic hypothyroidism, motor ataxia caused by cerebellar disease, etc., having extremely more excellent absorption ratio in the body than thyrotropin releasing hormone(TRH).
PREPARATION: For example, TRH shown by the formula pGlu-His-Pro-NH2 is reacted with a compound shown by the formula R-COCl such as hexanoyl chloride in the presence of triethylamine in a solvent and the reaction mixture is separated and purified by a conventional procedure.
