Title:
PERMANENT MAGNET DEVICE FOR MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH02218344
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To permit taking photograph with high image quality, preventing an inspected person from being applied with pains in taking photograph for arms and legs by forming a cut part in the vicinity at least one connection part of a plurality of holding bodies in at least one among the first and second holding bodies.

CONSTITUTION: An upper holding body 15' onto which an upper permanent magnet 1 is installed and a lower holding body 16' onto which a lower permanent magnet 12 is installed are connected at four corners by four holding pillars 17, and a static magnetic field for magnetic resonance imaging is generated between the both magnets. Each of the upper and lower holding bodies 15 and 16 has a cut part 18 at the near center part of each side. With such constitution, when the dimension of the cut part is set to the size permitting the placing of a chair, an inspected patient can extend his arm, etc., to the uniform region of magnetic field, keeping the attitude on the chair, and taking photograph with easy attitude is permitted. Further, a desired part can be set in the space where the superior magnetic field uniformity is secured, and high image quality can be obtained.
