A method for manufacturing a permanent magnet type motor 100 in which permanent magnets 50 are integrated into a rotor core stack 40 includes the steps of: combining core sheets 40a, 40b each including magnet insertion holes 41 and core sheet 40c including no magnet insertion holes 41, and disposing the core sheet 40c including no magnet insertion holes 41 at one end in a stacking direction to form the rotor core stack 40; injecting a low viscosity adhesive B into the magnet insertion holes 41 of which one end is closed by the core sheet 40c; and inserting the permanent magnets 50 into the magnet insertion holes 41 into which the low viscosity adhesive B has been injected, and then adhering and fixing the permanent magnets.
