Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice synthesizer capable of synthesizing a voice having quality equal to or higher than a fixed quality by smoothly connecting voice waveform element pieces.
SOLUTION: This voice synthesizer 1 is provided with a synthetic unit selecting part 12, an auxiliary signal adding part 13, a filter selecting part 14, a filter coefficient table 15, a filter processing part 16, a superposition processing part 17 and an element piece synthesis and output part 18 and is constituted by providing an element piece dictionary 11 at the outside or in the inside of the device. The auxiliary signal adding part 13 adds auxiliary signals of a zero level to respective plural synthetic units becoming connection objects. In the filter processing part 16, a filter processing is applied to sections in which the auxiliary signals are added and sections in which the prescribed pitch cycle portions of the synthetic unit accosiated with the concerned sections are preceded or succeeded to reduce signal levels. The supperposition processing part 17 applies a superposition processing to sections to which filter processings are applied to synthesize phonemes.
