Abstract:

To provide a macromolecule immobilizing palladium catalyst prepared by immobilizing a palladium catalyst in an amphiphilic phosphorus containing crosslinking macromolecule and the method of an organic synthetic reaction using the catalyst.

The catalyst is the macromolecule immobilizing palladium catalyst configured by supporting palladium on a crosslinked macromolecule, and is the macromolecule immobilizing palladium catalyst configured by crosslinking the crosslinked macromolecule having a phosphorus containing group where the crosslinked macromolecule is expressed by an aromatic side-chain, a hydrophilic side-chain, a crosslinking group, and -PR12(wherein, R1may be each the same, or different from each other, and represents alkyl group, aryl group or arallkyl group). It is preferable that the macromolecule supported palladium catalyst is formed by allowing the crosslinking macromolecule to be crosslinked in a reaction, after a micell where ultrafine palladium particles are supported on the crosslinking macromolecule is formed, for example, by adding a poor solvent to a solution of the crosslinking macromolecule and the palladium compound dissolved in a good solvent to create a phase separation. The catalyst can be used for a Suzuki-Miyaura coupling reaction or a selective hydrogenation of alkyne to alkene.
