PURPOSE: To prepare the titled composition curable with UV-radiations in a short time, and useful as a coating agent, etc., by compounding two kinds of organo- polysiloxanes each having specific siloxane unit.
CONSTITUTION: The objective composition is prepared by compounding (A) an organopolysiloxane containing the unit of formula I (R1 is H, phenyl, etc.; R2 is H or 1W4C alkyl; R3 is bivalent hydrocarbon, etc.; R4 is univalent hydrocarbon; a is 0, 1 or 2) and obtained by reacting an acid chloride of formula I with a mercaptocontaining organopolysiloxane in the presence of a chlorine acceptor, (B) a mercapto-containing organopolysiloxane containing the unit of formula III (R5 is univalent hydrocarbon; R6 is alkylene; b is 0, 1 or 2), and (C) pref. 0.05W10wt%, based on the sum of A and B, of a sensitizing agent such as acetophenone.
