To obtain a photocatalyst composition capable of obtaining a photocatalyst body and a functional composite with excellent durability having a surface exhibiting controlling ability of wetting property (hydrophilic property, hydrophobic property) of water and/or photocatalytic activity by irradiation of light for a long period of time without generating deterioration of an interface between an organic base material and the photocatalyst body and deterioration of the photocatalyst body itself without requiring a complicated step.
