Abstract:
To provide photocatalyst particles, a photocatalyst composition and a photocatalyst element, excellent in decomposing effect removing and sterilizing malodorous gas such as acetaldehydes, mercaptas, or the like, harmful gas such as NOX, or the like, a harmful substance such as agricultural chemicals, or the like, and an environmental pollutant.
Granulated photocatalyst particles, which comprise an aggregate of nano-microcapsules wherein a porous coating layer comprising fine particulate ceramics are partially fixed on the surface of titania, are manufactured and mixed with and dispersed in a resin to manufacture the photocatalyst composition. The photocatalyst element is obtained by coating a substrate with this photocatalyst composition.
