Title:
PHOTOCONDUCTIVE TYPE DISPLAY DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH01189609
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To decrease a ratio to generate a complete defect on a display surface and to suppress the fall of a display fidelity due to the dispersion of luminance to a minimum by making information for >=two picture element portions formed with an image forming device correspond to one photoconductor. CONSTITUTION:For one photoconductor 102 indicated by dotted lines, in a photoconductive type display device, to which total 6 picture elements 101 of three primary colors R, G and B correspond, the added information of the six picture element portions are outputted to a light emitting surface. Consequently, even when information is omitted due to the defect of approximate one picture element out of the six picture elements, probability to become the complete omission of the specific color information for the picture element on the light emitting surface, namely the complete defect, is reduced, and a receiving effect becomes smaller. An optical shutter in such a case allocates the same information to the respective two R, G and B picture elements, and can decrease a display information quantity per an LCD. In the picture element having no defect and being added with the two picture elements on the display surface, the dispersion of luminance is reduced.
