Title:
PHOTOCURRENT DETECTING APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2005300422
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a photocurrent detecting apparatus of a structure enabling high accuracy measurement of currents, and easy attachment to and detachment from the conductor of an object to be measured.

The photocurrent detecting apparatus, including a sensor fiber 7 which has a Faraday effect according to a magnetic field caused by a current to be measured, includes a looped-back optical path part for looping back an optical path from one end of the sensor fiber 7. The looped-back optical path part is provided with a polarization plane storage fiber 9 as a fiber member for looping back, of which the sensitivity with respect to the Faraday effect is relatively lowered, in comparison with the that of sensor fiber 7.
