PURPOSE: To provide a photographic film product and an image forming method, for remarkably improving the sharpness of a color print from a small format color negative film.

CONSTITUTION: The photographic film product and image forming method have a characteristic as follows; when the photographic film is loaded on a camera, the film is rolled up on a spool inside a cartridge having a posture control means so that the outlet of the film is kept in a plain including an exposing stage inside the camera, and a direction where the film is taken in/out is in parallel with a photographic film taking up direction inside the camera, the width of the film is 15--35mm, the area of one frame of an image exposing part is formed 3cm2-7cm2, and simultaneously, the supporting body of the film is a polycarbonate base.
