To provide a photographing unit capable of being easily assembled by matching optical axes of a lens and an image sensor to each other, a photographing device having the photographing unit, portable equipment having the photographing unit, and a method for assembling the photographing unit.
A front peripheral edge of a CCD 112 and a reference surface of a lens holding frame 202 are densely contacted with each other to match the optical axes to each other by pressing the front peripheral edge of the CCD 112 which is the image sensor against the reference surface 2023 of a rear face of the lens holding frame 202, projected parts 112A, 112B of the CCD 112 are put in recessed parts 2024A, 2024B of the lens holding frame 202 near an pivot point PB. Then, the front peripheral edge of the CCD 112 and the side of the reference surface of the lens holding frame 202 are adhered to be fixed, and adhered to be fixed by pouring adhesives from the side of the pressing direction (rear of the axis direction of the lens) into a recessed part 2024A near PB.
