PURPOSE: To enhance the storage stability, thermal stability and the light absorptivity within the chemical ray region of a compsn. by incorporating specific dyes therein.
CONSTITUTION: The above positive type photosensitive compsn. contains a photosensitive compd. (A), a binder (B) which is insoluble in water and swells in an aq. alkaline soln. and the dyes of the formula which absorbs the light within the chemical ray region. In the formula, R1 denotes H, alkyl,aryl, etc.; R2, R3 denote H, hydroxyl, alkyl, etc.; R4 to R7 denote H, hydroxy, aryl, etc. The compd. having an absorption peak within a range of 365 to 436nm is preferably used as the dyes of the formula. An o-quinonediazide compd. is preferably used as the compd. A and a novolak condensed resin as the binder B.
