Title:
PHOTOSENSITIVE MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS62947
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enhance sensitivity and storage stability of a photosensitive material by forming silver halide grains in the presence of a sensitizing dye, and a latent image through imagewise exposure, polymerizing a monomer with free radicals produced by the reaction of the silver salt and a reducing agent, and transferring the nonpolymerized parts to an image receiving material.

CONSTITUTION: The photosensitive material formed on a support is composed of a photosensitive silver halide emulsion, the reducing agent, the polymerizable compound, a color image forming material, and so on, and at least the polymerizable compound and the color image forming material are enclosed in the same capsules, and said emulsion forms silver salt grains in the presence of the sensitizing dye by imagewise exposed. The free radicals produced by the reaction between the silver salt and the reducing agent polymerize said compound, and increase the pressure resistance of those parts, thus permitting the nonpolymerized parts to be transferred to the image receiving material by pressure, or the like, consequently, the color image to be formed, and change of sensitivity to be prevented during storage, and storage stability to be enhanced.
