Abstract:
To provide a photosensor capable of being safely used in a water section in small size and performing superior sensing capability and to provide an automatic faucet which uses such a photosensor.
The photosensor comprises a second light-emitting ball lens 7a, a light-emitting optical fiber 5 and a first light-emitting ball lens 4a connected to a light-emitting element 8a, and a second photodetecting ball lens 7b, a photodetecting optical fiber 6 and a first light-emitting ball lens 4b connected to a photodetector 8b.
