To provide a photovoltaic power generation system that can be set up on a roof even when the roof has a small area and, in addition, can reduce the working man-hours required for performing connecting work in a connection box by simplifying the work by suppressing the volume of cables.
This photovoltaic power generating system supplies electric power to various kinds of electric appliances after converting DC power into AC power by means of a power conditioner 8. In the system, a solar battery module belonging to each battery group has a plurality of pairs of main cables 4a-4g which are connected in parallel and a current correcting box 6 having internal wiring 61-66 which connect the cables 4a-4g in series so as to obtain a prescribed power conditioner input voltage by collecting power generating outputs on its input side and a pair of positive and negative output taking-out wiring 41 and 42 which connect the internal wiring 61-66 to the power conditioner 8 on its output side.
