PURPOSE: To improve efficiency of picking work according to a method wherein the kinds and quantities of accommodated articles are stored in a computer per each of blocks formed by dividing an article accommodating shelf into sections and output of the computer is transferred to an indicator mounted on a truck and displayed there in compliance with a picking command.

CONSTITUTION: Respectively assigned kinds of articles 16 are accommodated in respective blocks 11-1W11-n formed by dividing a shelf 11 into a plurality of sections and addresses are individually assigned to them. A computer system 12 stores each of addresses set for each of blocks 11-1W11-n, and kinds and quantities of accommodated articles 16 and those data relating to addresses by blocks subjected to picking and quantity of articles subjected to picking are formed in an arithmetic unit and output from there, in compliance with a picking command given from outside. The output is input to an indicator 13 mounted on a truck 14 via a radio unit or a valve cassette, and displayed to have the operated informed of the content of picking.
