Abstract:
PURPOSE: To automatically discharge the sludge depositing on the bottom of a strip pickling tank without suspending the operation.
CONSTITUTION: A suction nozzle 11 is reciprocated by a traveling device 3, and the sucked sludge is transported to a treating device through a loop hose 13. The nozzle has a skirt 10a, the suction rate is controlled to 0.3-0.8m/s and the moving speed to 2m/min when the slit width is adjusted to 3-8mm, and the nozzle width is matched with that of the pickling tank.
