To provide a book type display as a persona information terminal to be replaced with a book by making the display to have the same function and the same portability as that of the book while providing two drivers for recording mediums in the display.
A coupling part 56 is made to be a hinge through which wirings of respective LCDs(liquid crystal displays) are made to be passed. Power source of this device is made to be provided with 14 pieces of batteries 517 having, for example, 1.2V by the calculation of power consumption in the whole of the device. Then, numbers of batteries are equally allotted to left and right sides of the device. Moreover, component distributions of the whole of the device are determined so that left and right, upper and lower weight distributions become equal when the display are opened. That is, since in this case memory card sockets are large in weight, batteries 517, electric circuit boards 511 and drivers for recording mediums 522 are arranged in a case by mainly considering the weights of them. Moreover, an SCSI connector 518 as the interface part with an external equipment is mounted in the device. Further, in this case, two sets of drivers for recording mediums 522 are provided in the device.
