PURPOSE: To assemble electrodes precisely and easily and to obtain a good picture by providing protrusions or recesses on the ends of individual electrodes and recessed grooves or protrusions on an insulator plate and by jointing the protrusions and the recessed grooves together.
CONSTITUTION: Recessed grooves 24 are provided on an insulator plate 23 made of a normal ceramics material and ceramics capable of being cut such as "Mocor glass ". In addition, protrusions 26, 28 are formed on both ends of electrode plates 25, 27 so that the protrusions 26, 28 of the electrode plates 25, 27 are jointed into the recessed grooves 24 of the insulator plate 23. Thereby, the electrodes of a display unit can be assembled precisely and easily, and a good picture can be available.
