Abstract:
PURPOSE: To detect the exact moving vectors of a picture by detecting the picture moving vectors based on hand shake vectors.
CONSTITUTION: A picture moving vector detector is constituted of a hand shake vector detecting circuit 10 and a picture moving vector detecting circuit 16. In the circuit 10, a luminance value corresponding to each representative point in the search area of each macroblock(MB) divided at every frame of an image pickup signal is stored in a representative point memory 36. Next, MB movement detecting circuits 44a-44p detect the MB moving vectors, and supply them to a hand shake vector outputting circuit 56. The circuit 56 selects the largest number of MB moving vectors as the hand shake vectors, and supplies them to a picture moving vector output circuit 76. The circuit 76 compares the MB moving vectors obtained from MB movement detecting circuits 74a-74p with the hand shake vectors, detects the picture moving vectors based on the MB moving vectors which don't correspond to the hand shake vectors, and supplies them to a system controller.
