Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the picture processing unit being able to acquire color reproduction with fidelity to an original.
CONSTITUTION: The processing unit is provided with hierarchical neural net 101 of three layers or over receiving/outputting data from an intermediate layer and an intermediate value storage device 102 storing each unit data of an intermediate layer corresponding to picture data by one line inputted to the neural net 101. Then the strength of linking among the layers is adjusted based on data outputted from the intermediate layer through 2nd input and the stored intermediate value.
