Abstract:
PURPOSE:To quickly judge as to whether it is of the record by the conventional frequency allocation or a new frequency allocation by providing the judging means judging the size of the synchronous part of the picture signal of after FM demodulation. CONSTITUTION:The 1st FM signal having a 1st frequency deviation or the 2nd FM signal having the 2nd frequency deviation larger than the 1st frequency deviation is subjected to an FM demodulation in a picture reproducing device and by detecting the size of the synchronous signal of a demodulation signal the judging means to judge the 1st FM signal or 2nd FM signal is owned. In case of setting a new frequency allocation against the conventional frequency allocation, whether the recording is made by which frequency allocation is quickly judged and the various signal processings in the reproducing device can be thus conformed to the frequency allocation thereof.
