Abstract:
PURPOSE:To realize an electrode construction of a piezoelectric displacement device being able to be made with few processes while being made low-priced by forming electrodes on the surface of a ferromagnetic piezomaterial such as barium titanate in a striped shape. CONSTITUTION:Electrodes 2 are formed on the surface of a piezomaterial 1 made of a ferromagnetic ceramic material such as barium titanate in a striped- shape by evaporation and a photoetching method. Stripe-shaped electrodes 2 generate surface displacement by impressing an electric field on the surface of the piezomaterial 1 in the horizontal direction. Then, similarly to a lamination type piezoelectric displacement device, the displacement amount and displacement force can be changed according to the number of the stripe-shaped electrodes and their intervals.
