PURPOSE: To improve the sound quality by preventing the resonance between a front side case and a rear side case when a piezoelectric diaphragm is vibrated.
CONSTITUTION: A circumferential ridge of a piezoelectric diaphragm formed by adhering a piezoelectric ceramic plate 12 to a metallic base 11 is inserted and coupled between a front case 13 and a rear case 15 with an acoustic resistance member 17 coupled therewith, and dumping prevention paint 20 is coated to an outer face of the front side case 13 and the rear side case 15. Thus, a piezoelectric receiver is obtained, in which the resonance between the front side case 13 and the rear side case 15 generated when the piezoelectric diaphragm is vibrated is prevented and the sound quality is improved.
