Abstract:
To provide a pile driving device and a pile driving method capable of efficiently forming an excavated hole and driving a pile in a low overhead clearance environment.SOLUTION: A pile driving device comprises: a rotary press-fitting machine 10 for press-fitting a tubular casing C into a ground surface while rotating it; and a screw auger excavator 20 holding a screw auger S inserted into the casing C and excavating a ground B by rotating the screw auger S located inside the casing C. The rotary press-fitting machine 10 press-fits a plurality of casings C so that the plurality of casings C are lined up along a depth direction of the ground B. A plurality of screw augers S can be connected to each other. The screw auger excavator 20 connects another screw auger S on top of the previously placed screw auger S above the press-fitted casing C.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
