PURPOSE: Two kinds of acrylonitrile polymers with different content of a sulfonic acid-containing monomer from each other are separately dissolved and the resultant spinning dopes are subjected to eccentric conjugate spinning into a coagulation bath, then the resultant yarn is drawn to produce the titled fiber of high bulkiness, elasticity, dyeability and spinnability.
CONSTITUTION: (A) A solution in an organic solvent of an acrylonitrile polymer containing 1.0W1.9wt% of a sulfonic acid-containing monomer and 6.5W9.0wt% of other monomers and having a weight-average molecular weight of less than 50,000 and (B) another solution in an organic solvent of another acrylonitrile polymer containing 0.2W1.0wt% less than the dope A and 0.7W1.2wt% of the sulfonic acid-containing monomer and 1.0W3.0wt% less than the dope A and 4.0W6.0wt% of other monomers and having less than 50,000 weight-average molecular weight are subjected to eccentric conjugate spinning into a coagulation bath. The resultant filaments suffer the primary drawing at a ratio higher than 3.5, drying under tension and the secondary drawing at a higher than 1.1 ratio in arange of 5W9 as a product with the primary rate. Further, the filaments are shrinked under tension by less than 10%, drawn as the tertiary drawing at a 1.1W 1.6 ratio and shrinked under tension by 2W10%.
