Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pinching cutting tool or a cable cutter that not only can perform pinching cutting but also can be used as a cutting tool with a blade edge at an outer end.
SOLUTION: In the pinching cutting tool, a pinching cutting part 3 is provided by supporting the crossing overlapped part of a pair of pinching half bodies 1A and 1B, and forming a blade edge at the opposite inner end of the tip part of the pinching half bodies 1A and 1B that are opened or closed via a pivot 2, and a gripping part 7 is provided at the base edge part of the pinching half bodies 1A and 1B. In the pinching cutting tool, an opposing gripping part is opened to the outside from a state where the opposing tip part of the pinching cutting part is pinched and blocked, thus turning one pinching half body 1A to an inverted state where it is rotated by approximately 360 degrees via the pivot for the pinching half body 1B and turning both the half bodies to an inverted state where they are turned by nearly 180 degree with the pivot as a center. Also, by the inverted state, the blade end of a pair of pinching half body tip parts faces the outside each other for use as a cutting tool with the blade end at the outer end in the inverted state.
