Abstract:
PURPOSE: To eliminate foreign materials filling a pinhole of parts and detect the existence of the pinhole by using an inspection medium liquid at high static pressure.
CONSTITUTION: A pinhole detector is provided with an inspection liquid supply part 8 to supply liquid for introducing in a body W to be inspected, an inspection jig 1 and a piston 5 to pressurize the liquid introduced in the body W to be inspected up to a specific inspection pressure and a pressure gauge 14 to detect the existence of a pinhole in the inspected body W by the lowering of the inspection pressure to below a reference value after elapsing a determined time in the state of liquid pressurized to the static inspection pressure.
