Title:
PIPE PROTECTIVE COVER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3689002
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe protective cover 1 capable of preventing a pipe from being damaged by sliding contact with sediment when the pipe is advanced in the sediment.
SOLUTION: The pipe protective cover 1 is woven cylindrically by a warp 2 and a weft 3, and woven into a continuous integral woven fabric without a seam on the whole. Thus, the strength of the pipe protective cover 1 can be made uniform and high in the axial direction 21 and in the peripheral direction 22. Since the adjacent warps come into contact with each other, the pipe protective cover 1 is determined in number of the warps and wefts 2, 3 and fineness so that no weave texture penetrating in the internal and external directions is formed and even if frictional resistance received from the sediment works, the pipe 4 is not exposed to the sediment. Accordingly, the pipe 4 can be prevented from being exposed to the sediment and damaged by sliding contact of the sediment and the pipe protective cover 1.
