Abstract:
PURPOSE: To readily adjust the height of a top plate without stooping the waist by providing a holding plate vertically moved by a screw between an adjuster rotatably fitted to a fitting body on the lower face of the top plate of a table and the upper end section of a nonrotatable outer tube planted on a ground plate at the lower end of a leg body.
CONSTITUTION: A rotatable cylindrical adjuster 3 is provided on a fitting body 2 fixed on the lower face of a top plate 1. A nonrotatable outer tube 23 is planted on the ground plate 11 of a leg body 4. An inner tube 24 supported by a plurality of radial bulkheads 25 is provided on the inside of the outer tube 23, and a female screw is formed on the screw hole 22 of its inner periphery. A screw shaft 18 having a male screw is inserted and fixed into the through hole at the center section of a fixed plate 19 fitted in the radial direction of the adjuster 3. The adjuster 3 is rotated clockwise or counterclockwise to rotate the screw shaft 18, and the top plate 1 is vertically moved via the adjuster 3. The height of the top plate 1 is readily and finely adjusted while the waist is not stooped, and the aging change is prevented.
