To provide a plain tile, the wind-resistant performance of which is improved by a connecting structure, in which an under lap is not cracked and the position of which in the horizontal direction in the case of tiling can be adjusted.
The under lap 3 is extended at one side edge of a tile body section 2 having an eaves section 2a in a head section, and a projecting section 4 is formed at a central section on the inside of the eaves section 2a. An engaging projection 5 is formed on the top face of a tail section on the reverse side of the under lap 3, and a groove 5a opened in the head-direction is formed at the engaging projection 5. The projecting section 4 of another plain tile is fitted and tiled and lapped into the groove 5a in a position adjustable manner in the horizontal direction.
