A radio part 20 of radio equipment receives a high frequency signal, which is generated by a radio wave received by a planar reversed F antenna 10, through a reception circuit 8. The basis elements of the planar reversed F antenna 10 are composed of a planar radiation element 1, a circuit board 6, a ground terminal 3 and a power feeder terminal 2. Around the surface of the radiation element 1, a frequency switch terminal 4 is provided and the top end part of the switch terminal 4 is turned ON/OFF with the circuit board 6 by a switch 5. In the state of turning off the switch 5, the resonance frequency of the antenna 10 is low and in the state of ON, the resonance frequency becomes high. When the frequency of the high frequency signal to be received is high, a control part 9 of the radio part 20 increases the reception frequency of the reception circuit 8 and controls the switch 5 to ON.
