Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a food of high nutritive value, incorporated with enzymolyzed plant components which have utilized fibrous components as well as the active ingredient(s) in plant cells and are also prevented from damages due to sundry germs.
CONSTITUTION: An plant intercellular substance-degradative enzyme is made to act on a fresh plant body to degrade its tissue followed by separation into a monocyte-contg. fraction and residue fraction; a fiber-degradative enzyme is then made to act on the residue fraction to convert it to a liquefied product. Then, both the resulting monocyte-containing fraction and the liquefied product are formulated in a food material to obtain a plant component-contg. food.
