Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of a transparent conductive film constituting display electrodes X, Y and to enhance the reliability of display.
SOLUTION: This plasma display panel 1 has display electrodes X, Y each comprising transparent conductive film 41 and a metal film 42 on the inner face of a front-face side glass substrate 11; and a dielectric layer 17 covering the display electrodes. The dielectric layer 17 comprises a lower layer 17A of ZnO-based glass not containing lead; and an upper layer 17B of ZnO-based glass that does not contain lead, added with an alkaline metal oxide, such that the softening point of the upper layer 17B is lower than that of the lower layer glass.
